Prabhat Kumar is the Vice President of Global Internal Audit Solutions at konaAI, a new start up global, AI driven technology company focused on anti-fraud, anti-corruption and enterprise risks. Prabhat leads konaAI global internal audit engagements and provides data driven strategies to optimize internal audit projects including continuous controls monitoring solutions. Prabhat works closely with the client's Chief Audit Executives (CAE), Chief Compliance Officers (CCO) and Senior leadership teams. This role works as an extension of the company’s data analytics and data science capabilities, offering scalable capacity and expertise that goes beyond competitive solutions or internal builds. Prior to joining konaAI, Prabhat has led Chief Audit Executive role at global companies at some large global companies like Revlon Inc., Canon USA Inc. and Leviton Manufacturing Company.

He has 20 plus years of extensive experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Controls, Internal Audit management, fraud investigations and strategic data analytics utilizing ACL, and Tableau to identify meaningful improvement opportunities in business processes.

Prabhat has been a member of the Long Island Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors since 1992 and has held the positions of President (2002-03), Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Board of Governor over the years. He continues to support the chapter program and speakers committee in the coming years. He also currently serves as an Internal Audit Committee member for the NYS Society of CPAs and a local school district. Prabhat is a CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs. Prabhat is also a Chartered Accountant from India.
