Michele Crymes is an anti-corruption and governance expert currently advising organizations on integrity and compliance strategy. Most recently, she served as Deputy Director at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), where she led global private sector integrity initiatives, including collective action programming and humanitarian integrity efforts.
Michele has also worked as an investigative attorney, ensuring compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) for multinational companies based in Mexico, Brazil, and Peru. Her career also includes developing rule of law and human rights programs in the Philippines, Fiji, and Vietnam as a Program Manager with the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative. Additionally, she managed USAID-funded anti-corruption and rule of law programs in Colombia, East Timor, and Central America.
