Head of the Anti-Corruption Program at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Mexico

Luz María Guzmán Lozano is an expert in anticorruption, holds a Master's degree in Comparative Law (LL.M) from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and has a law degree from the University of Monterrey. Additionally, she has a diploma in alternative dispute resolution.

Luz María has over 15 years of professional experience in public administration, anti-corruption, gender violence prevention, and public security.

He held various positions in government institutions of the State of Nuevo León such as the State Institute for Women, the General Secretariat of Government, and the Secretariat of Public Security.

She was a university professor at Anáhuac Mayab University in subjects of International Law and Public Service Responsibility.

She held the position of Conciliator and Head of the Transparency Unit in the Administrative Litigation Court of the Municipality of Mérida.

In recent years, he has coordinated various anti-corruption projects at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Mexico. He is currently the Head of the Anti-Corruption Program at that Office.
