Regional Coordinator for Civil Society Participation

United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)

He holds a Master's degree in Intelligence for National Security from the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP) and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He has more than eight years of experience managing research teams, analyzing and visualizing data, generating products for decision-making, and analyzing and evaluating policies related to government and public security.

With UNODC, he has served as Project Coordinator for the evaluation and strengthening of public security and prevention strategies. He is currently a specialist in the UNODC Mexico Partnerships team and a regional focal point for the UNODC Civil Society Unit.

Current responsibilities include delivering specialized lectures on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, the application of the SDGs, and international best practices in prevention, security, and justice, as well as coordinating strategic alliances and strengthening relationships with government, civil society organizations, the private sector, and academic institutions focused on preventing and combating organized crime and its negative effects in Mexico and Latin America.
